Events and festivals in Zlakusa
Zlakusa is not a village with one festival. Several come round through the year, carried by the "Zavicaj" ethno association and the "Keramika Zlakusa" association. Two are tied to the craft; the rest to song, dance and village life. Announced dates come first below, then the calendar that repeats every year.

The craft festivals
Two carry the year. Loncarijada is the pottery fair that gathers potters from Serbia and the region, held in autumn within the Autumn in Zlakusa festival. The International Art Ceramics Colony runs from 1 to 11 August and gathers ceramicists who take the local clay and technique into art.
Song, dance and village life
"Zlakusa in Song and Dance", a gathering of traditional performers from Serbia and the diaspora, is held in early July around Ivandan at Terzica Avlija, with a folklore festival alongside it. Through the rest of the year come the Easter concert, the "Raspevana avlija" vocal festival, a local talent showcase, the international eco camp, and in winter the Serbian prelo before the Julian new year and the annual "Zavicaj" concert.
Where it all came from
The Autumn in Zlakusa festival has been held since 1992. Until 2009 it contained one of the two international ceramics colonies; since then the colony has stood on its own, and a pottery fair — Loncarijada — was started within Autumn instead.
